Moroni Palace – Paladin  Hall

Just in front of the University of the Bo is located palace Moroni, the Town hall of Padua. In  XVI the century it was restricted by the architect Andrea Moroni, from which it takes the name . On some of its external walls they are present stones to death commemorative of the World Wars I, bringing back the names of the fallen and the bulletins of the victories.
The flag in foreground is the Veneto Country Official Flag with with the Venetian Lion represented.

Gran Guardia Lodge

This building was built in Lombardesque style  starting in 1496, to accommodate the Maggior Consiglio di Padova. During the Austrian occupation it was called Gran Guardia. Since 1866 the lodge has been used for cultural activities.
